Course of Fire

Standard bowling pins are set on a steel table at 30 feet. The number and position of the pins may change from match to match. The objective is to knock all of the pins down in the least amount of time.

Scoring

On time only, fastest time wins. The number of shots fired is used for tiebreakers only, if needed. Re-entries are allowed.

Equipment

Any centerfire or rimfire handgun, open sights only. Semi-autos must have 10 or less rounds loaded per magazine. Non-standard arms are allowed, but are not eligible for awards.

Cost

$10 per run, or 3 runs for $25. No other discounts apply.

Awards

Fifteen or fewer shooters: one 3-run pass for bowling pin shoots to the first place, a 2-run pass to the second place, and a 1-run pass to the third place. More than 15 shooters: two Lewis classes, each class wins a 3-run pass to the first place, a 2-run pass to the second place, and a 1-run pass to the third place. Awards will be available at the range desk the following week.

Course of Fire

The Dueling Tree is placed at 50 feet.

Objective

To have the fewest paddles on your side at the end of one minute. If you have all paddles on one side at any time during the one minute, you're an instant winner.

Equipment

Any centerfire handgun from .380 to 44spl., revolver or semi-automatic, open sights only, maximum of 10 rounds per mag, maximum of 50 rounds total, one gun.

Time

One-minute time limit. In case of a tie after one minute, a 15 sec, 10-round shoot-out will take place until a winner is determined.

Cost

$20 of which $5 goes to the prize pool. No discounts apply.

Awards

1st place: 45% of prize pool
2nd place: 35% of prize pool
3rd place: 20% of prize pool

This competition is open to Glock Shooting Sports Foundation members and becoming a member is very easy, as we will be signing new members up the day of the 1st match in this 3 match series. The matches are fun and rewarding. All those who participate are automatically entered into a drawing to win a FREE GLOCK pistol. The winner will be drawn after the end of the 3 match series.

G.S.S.F Membership Information:
Glock Shooting Sports Foundation membership is a requirement in order to shoot in any of G.S.S.F. matches. Shooters will be able to sign up the day of the 1st match for a $35.00 fee. This gives you a one year individual membership.

Match Fees:
The match fees are charged on a per run (single course of fire) basis, and you can sign up for as many runs as time and availability permit. Hours are from 9:00am to 12:00pm with no sign-ups after 11:45am.

First Run: $15.00
Additional Run: $11.00

Pre-Registration:
Pre-registration is highly recommended to reserve your run time slots. This option is available only with pre-payment.  Shooters not pre-registered will only be able to choose from remaining available run time slots. Shooters must be here at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled run time. Please call or visit the Indoor Range to pre-register. 

Black Wing has a brand new pistol league! This league is all about fun with a gun! Each league night, we will offer you a fun new drill to shoot!

Some courses of fire may be shot while multiple shooters are on the line, while others may be shot with only one shooter at a time. Several courses of fire even put you, the shooter, downrange and in some really interesting situations!

The course of fire will be different each week. Though we will tell you the concept , we will not tell you details until you are here for the shoot. The real fun is in the details!

COST

$8 per run or 3 runs for $20

Centerfire handguns with open sights only. Lasers can be on your gun but cannot be used.

SCORING

Some drills are scored for accuracy and time, while others are not scored at all but we will do a random drawing for those weekly winners.

• These awards will be based on the drills that were scorable only, however you must attend all 8 shoots.
